1) Is Endurance Exercise destroying your teeth?

Blog linking to different chronological studies showing that endurance athletes have greater tooth decay- linked primarily to exercise:

2) Does Coffee make you pee your bones out?

Here’s how the pH of Coffee measures out: pH 5

Drinking Tea Reduces Dental Carries more than drinking coffee.

Interesting explanation for the interaction between food and bone loss (read the comments section as well for further insights): http://sciencebasedpharmacy.wordpress.com/2009/11/13/your-urine-is-not-a-window-to-your-body-ph-balancing-a-failed-hypothesis/

3) What is estrogen dominance and why is it important?

Affects Men and Women

Estrogen dominance is not really dominance….it is the Ratio of “good” estrogens to “bad” estrogens.

Estrogen Ratio or “quotient”   EQ= E3/(E1+E2)

E1= Estrone, E2= Estradiol, E3= Estriol

4) Are burpees the perfect endurance exercise?

Joe Di Sena on TEDx talking about burpees- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up_NsWakI64

Brief history of the Burpee: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/02/burpee-history_n_5248575.html

Burpees should be supplemented with lateral and contra lateral movements to build integrated leg, hip, and trunk stability/mobility.

5) Muscle muscle cramping at night/day/during exercise.

Electrolytes, magnesium imbalance (usually not enough mag and too much calcium) Calcium causes muscles to be able to relax, magnesium allows them to contract. Serum and intracellular (intramuscular) magnesium levels don’t correlate well as serum only contains ~1% of total body magnesium.
